Nepra approves Rs9.90 per unit increase in power tariff

The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) on Friday approved Rs9.90 per unit increase in electricity prices, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to a notification released by the Nepra, the raise in electricity prices was approved on account of the monthly fuel cost adjustment for the months of June.

The increase in the electricity prices will not apply to the K-Electric and Lifeline customers.
