Angelina Jolie 'emotionally exhausted' amid Brad Pitt’s legal battle over French winery

Hollywood actress and humanitarian Angelina Jolie has reportedly admitted to feeling "emotionally exhausted" as her prolonged legal battle with ex-husband Brad Pitt continues over their French winery, Château Miraval.

According to RadarOnline, a source close to Jolie shared that the Maleficent star has found the ongoing lawsuit draining both emotionally and financially. “It’s the last thing I need right now. I’m tired, stressed, and emotionally exhausted,” Jolie is quoted as saying.

The dispute began in 2021 when Jolie sold her share of Château Miraval to Russian billionaire Yuri Shefler – a move Pitt claims was made without his consent, and which he is now legally challenging in hopes of reversing the deal.

“She believes Brad is trying to drain her,” the source added. “The time, the energy, the money – it’s all meant to wear me down,” Jolie reportedly said.

Her statement comes shortly after a judge denied her attempt to have Pitt’s lawsuit dismissed, giving his legal challenge the green light to proceed.

Sources close to Pitt told the outlet that the Fight Club actor is determined to retain control over the property, saying, “He sees this as protecting something deeply personal. Château Miraval is a symbol of his legacy. He won’t hand it over without a fight.”

Despite the toll the legal wrangling is taking, Jolie is said to be standing firm. “She’ll fight this to the bitter end if she has to,” the insider noted. “But there’s no doubt – it’s taking a toll.”
