A man killed his niece in Jacobabad for ‘honour’ on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Police arrested Saddam Hussain Bheen.
The deceased woman was identified as Rehana Bheen.
However, despite the severity of the crime, an FIR of the incident was yet to be registered till the filing of this story.
Police, on the other hand, said that the scope of the investigation had been expanded and the suspect was being grilled.
Man, who poured oil on child, still at large
Meanwhile, the police in Ghotki have yet to arrest the man, who had poured hot oil on an eight-year-old girl named Sania.
Despite the fact that the Sindh IGP had taken notice of the incident, Lutf Bhutto, the suspect, is still at large.
On the other hand, the girl’s family has appealed to the government to arrange her treatment at its expenses.
The condition of Sania, who is presently admitted at a hospital, is critical, while her family has little resources to bear the expenses of her treatment.
Sania’s family has appealed to the deputy commissioner Ghotki to make arrangements for shifting their child to a hospital in Gambat immediately.
Bullet-riddled body found in Ubauro
Bullet-riddled body of a youth has been found near Rainy Canal area in the suburbs of Ubauro.
Police have shifted the body to a hospital.
The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Ataullah.
Police said that as per initial investigation, the incident appeared to be the consequence of old enmity.
Two police encounters reported from Karachi
Two police encounters have been reported from different parts of Karachi.
In one encounter that took place in Boat Basin, Clifton, two suspects, including one in injured condition, were arrested.
In the second encounter in Iqbal Market in District West, one suspect was arrested in injured condition, while the other managed to flee from the spot.
