Gold price continues to hit ceiling

The price of 24 karat per tola gold witnessed an increase of Rs 500 on Saturday and was sold at Rs155,900 against its sale at Rs155,400, the previous day.

The price of 10 gram 24 karat also increased by Rs 430 and was sold at Rs 133,660 against Rs133, 230, All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported.

Likewise, 10 grams of 22k gold were being traded for Rs 122,521 while a single tola of 22-karat gold was being sold at Rs 142,907. Yesterday, per tola gold rate in Pakistan for 22K was 133,103.

The gold rate in Pakistan is fluctuating according to the international market so the price is never been fixed.

The price of gold in the international market increased by $11 and was sold at $1,771.
