The authorities have massively decreased the prices of tea at the country’s Utility Stores. There was also a marginal drop in ghee rate, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The prices of different brands of tea were down from Rs45 to Rs845 while the ghee rate was reduced by Rs9 per kilogram.

The Utility Stores Corporation issued a notification in this regard on Saturday.

The ghee price for Karahi zone was decreased for Rs9 per kg while rest of the country the rate is down eight rupees.
The price of 80-gram tea pack was reduced by Rs45, 170-gram pack by Rs100, 430-gram by Rs357 and 900-gram by Rs845.

According to the notification, the new prices will be effective from today (Saturday).
