CPSP holds meeting of Emergency Medicine's examiners from Pakistan and Ireland

The meeting of the Examiners of Emergency Medicine from Ireland and Pakistan was held at College of Physicians and Surgeons in Islamabad which was also attended by Irish envoy Mary O’Neill and eminent senior military officers. 

The other guests included Mohammed Motahar Alashabi, Ambassador of Yemen; Sardar Ahmad Shakeeb, Ambassador of Afghanistan; Reza Ameri Moghadam, Ambassador of Iran; Ibrahim Mohammed Abdul Qader, Ambassador of Bahrain; Ahhab Abdulrazak, Deputy Ambassador of Sudan and Ahmed Jawad Rabaei, Ambassador of Palestine. 

Major General Azhar Kiani, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Punjab on Health, Ministry of Foreign Affairs representatives Mr. Tahir Andrabi and others were also present. 

CPSP President Professor Shoaib Shafi briefed the participants about CPSP's achievements on national and international level with special emphasis on the specialty of Emergency Medicine and contributions of CPSP for development of this Specialty with the collaboration and coordination of Health Services Executives of Ireland. He also lauded the Irish Council for Emergency Medicine for their support specially Prof Ahmad Jamal and Dr Naill' O. 

Senior Vice President of CPSP Professor Khalid Masood Gondal told about the decade-long partnership between CPSP and Ireland’s Health Service Executive (HSE). He said the collaboration began in 2008, with the first batch inducted in 2013. The CPSP completed ten successful years and received the highest prize in collaboration with Health Services Executives.
