Setback for PTI: Defence minister’s bro expected to join PPP

The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf is about to receive a setback in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as PTI’s Defence Minister Pervez Khattak’s brother Liaquat Khattak is all set to join the bandwagon of the Pakistan People’s Party, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Sources told 24NewsHD on Friday that Liaquat Khattak, brother of defence minister, is expected to join the PPP. The contact between the two have been expedited, they added.

The PPP (KP Chapter) has confirmed the news of recent interactions.

Sources in the PPP informed that talks between Mr Liaquat Khttak and the PPP had entered the final stages.
