DOR terms firing incident during polling in NA 157 result of family dispute

The District Returning Officer (DOR) of By-election NA-157 Multan termed the incident of firing and scuffling during the polling in the constituency a result of a family dispute.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the District Returning Officer has explained the news broadcast in the media about the incident of firing and scuffle in NA-157 has nothing to do with the polling process.

The DOR said in a statement that it was an incident of a domestic dispute and after ending the polling time, the process of counting of votes and transmission of results is going on peacefully in the Multan constituency.
