Faisalabad medical student torture: Court gives physical remand of accused

Faisalabad district magistrate has given two days of physical remand to four accused involved in the Faisalabad medical student torture case on Wednesday.
According to the details, the court of Raja Ali Raza has sent the female accused Maham to jail on judicial remand in the same case.
It is worth mentioning that for turning down a marriage proposal yesterday, an industrialist Danish Sheikh and his gang including daughter Ana Sheikh and Maham kidnapped a medical student Khadija Mehmood from her home and tortured her brutally to satisfy their ego in Faisalabad.
The victim girl Khadija was not only sexually harassed but also filmed by the accused Sheikh Danish and his companions.
Accused Danish along with his daughter Ana Sheikh and guards forcefully kidnapped the girl from her home and took her to their residence at University Town. They forced her to lick the shoes and made a video of such an insulting act.
They also tortured her and cut her hair in revenge. The video of torture, licking of shoes and trimmed hairs has been made viral on social media.
CCPO Faisalabad Umar Saeed Malik took the notice of the incident and registered a case in the women's police station against the culprits.
The police presented five accused persons Danish, Maham, Shoaib Asghar, Faizan and Tayyab in the court of the magistrate after the arrest.
Women Parliamentary Caucus Secretary Shahida Akhtar Rahmani strongly condemned the brutal acts of the medical student Khadija in Faisalabad.
She said that the abduction, torture and heinous act of BDS student in Faisalabad is very sad and condemnable.
She said the Caucus has sent a letter to IG Police Punjab, CPO and DPO Faisalabad for a detailed investigation report of the incident.
