Duplicate admissions in PEF partner schools revealed

Thousands of students registered with duplicate admissions in Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) partner schools revealed, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
Due to duplicate enrollment of students, the partner schools allegedly started charging double fees from the government.
Punjab Education Foundation took notice of duplicate enrollment of students and ordered all licensed schools to correct the admissions records and submit affidavit.
Licensed schools instructed to submit an affidavit on a stamp paper worth Rs 300.
Licensed schools given deadline till June 22 to submit the affidavit.
Heavy fine or license can also be cancelled if duplicate enrollment is proven after the due date, PEF officials said.
