COAS, US diplomat discuss Afghan peace process
US Charge d’Affaires Angela Aggeler met Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday and discussed the regional security situation and the Afghan peace process, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a tweet, Inter-Services Public Relations Director-General said: “The visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan’s contributions for conflict prevention in the region and relentless support provided in the Afghanistan peace process.”

The media wing of the Pakistan Armed Forces said, “The visiting dignitary assured US continued assistance for the common cause of peace in Afghanistan.”
Earlier, the COAS visited Quetta on November 17, interacted with participants of National Workshop Balochistan aimed at enhancing understanding of participants about critical national security issues, timely decision-making process, national security management system and elements of national power.
Speaking on the occasion, the COAS said that progress and stability in Balochistan is critical to the prosperity of Pakistan. “All stakeholders including the Army have synergized their efforts for socio-eco uplift of the people of Balochistan,” the COAS said.
