PML-N MNAs Barjees Tahir and Barrister Usman Ibrahim and former Federal Minister for Minority Affairs Akram Masih Gill called on Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi at his residence in Lahore Thursday and enquired about the welfare of Ch Shujat Hussain, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

During the meeting, views were exchanged about the prevailing national political situation and matters of mutual interest. On this occasion, Aslam Pervaiz Gill was also present. 

The PML-Q leader thanked N-League MNAs and agreed to enhance the mutual contacts.

Talking to Akram Masih Gill, Ch Parvez Elahi said that the minority community has a major role in highlighting the positive image of Pakistan in the world, immigrants are ambassadors of Pakistan in foreign countries. 

Akram Masih Gill said that as the Chief Minister what works you did for the Christian community are unparalleled, created ministry for the minorities for the first time and in the history of Pakistan for the first time returned the educational institutions, established funds for construction and restoration of churches and gave away kachi abadis’ proprietary rights for which the Christian community is grateful to him from the depth of their hearts.
