The Punjab government has decided to resume public transport service, suspended as part of steps taken to stem the spread of Covid-19.

The bus service will be resumed tomorrow while Orange Line Train will be back on the track after the restoration of Yateem Khan terminal.

A couple of weeks, the government suspended all types of public transport services, including Orange Line and Metro Bus Service.

However, transporters were allowed to continue their business. The steep surge in the Covid-19 cases has made various regions ‘high-alert.
