Bird hits Qatar Airways flight

A Qatar Airways plane survived a major accident after a bird hit, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

According to sources, a bird hit a Karachi-bound flight near the runway.

They added that the flight was coming from Doha when the incident occurred.

The civil aviation officials inspected the plane after it landed safely.

Bird blood and feathers were found in the plane's engine, they maintained.
