Kurlus Osman hero’s wife Fahriye Evcen to play lead role in new drama Alp Arsalan

Kurlus: Osman’s lead character Burak Ozcivit aka Osman Bey's wife is returning to TV screens after a while with another historical blockbuster Alp Arsalan.

Sultan Alp Arsalan is the second season of The Great Seljuk series. The first season of The Great Seljuk revolved around the story of the life of Sultan Malik Shah, the son of Seljuk Sultan Alp Arsalan, but in the second season, the story will return and tell about the life of Sultan Alp Arsalan, the respected and powerful Seljuk Sultan.

Famous actress Fahriye Evcen, who married actress Burak OzCivit in 2017, and gave birth to their son Karan in 2019.

Turkish beauty took a break from the series sets for a while to take care of her son after giving birth. Evcen, who appeared in commercials during this time, made a bomb deal after 4 years and decided to return to the TV series.

The beautiful star will share the lead role with Barıs Arduc in TRT 1’s ambitious, giant project ‘Alp Arslan’.

Evcen, who will portray the character of “Akca Hatun” in the series, which will begin to be broadcast in September, is waiting for an intense work tempo.

Fahriye has also shared a couple of trailers of the drama on her Instagram.

Fahriye Evcen, photographed by the members of the press in Bebek, expressed her excitement with the words: “It’s almost time to go on the set, the preparations have started”.

So who will take care of her son Karan while Fahriye Evcen is on the set?

Burak Ozcivit, when asked by the members of the press, “Who will take care of their child while you two are on the set?”

“Karan’s time will pass on the sets. He will sometimes come to his mother’s set and sometimes to his father’s set,” he replied.

The producer of the play, Emre Konuk, who posted some pictures in August on his Twitter account in which actor Banc Arduc who will give life to the character of Seljuk Sultan Alp Arsalan, and actress Fahriye Evcen who will play the role of Alp Arsalan's wife Akca Khatun, can be seen practicing fencing and horse riding.

Emre Konuk introduced the two characters in the caption of both tweets and repeatedly mentioned, "We're Close, We're Coming."
