PM heads Covid-19 combat moot

Prime Minister Imran Khan Monday presided over a meeting to deliberate upon the ongoing war on Covid-19, demand and supply of oxygen gas, enforcement of smart lockdown in affected areas, SOPs for commemorating Eidul Azha.
The prime minister was briefed about increasing number of beds for coronavirus-hit people in public service hospitals in all provinces, GB and AJK.
The premier was told about arrangements for adding another 2,150 beds for Covid-19 victims in the mid of next month. The meeting was apprised of oxygen supply to the demanding units.
The PM expressed satisfaction at supply of beds and oxygen and positive results of smart lockdown. He stressed the need for seeking services of local leadership and Tiger Forces to make win coronavirus combat.
He laid emphasis on finalising SOPs for Eidul Azha in consultation with the provincial authorities so that public safety could be ensured at all costs in such an extraordinary situation.
