Federal bureaucracy reshuffled: Hamza Farooq appointed as Climate Change Authority chairperson

The federal government has transferred and posted senior bureaucrats on Tuesday, 24NewsHD TV reported. 

According to a notification issued by the Establishment Division, Hamza Farooq has been appointed chairperson of the Pakistan Climate Change Authority on a two-year contract.

Meanwhile, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of National Health Services, Munir Ahmed Sheikh, has been transferred and his services placed at the disposal of the Defence Division.

The Establishment Division has also cancelled its earlier notification placing the services of Naatiq Hussain Shah, who was awaiting appointment, at the disposal of the Defence Division as Deputy Secretary.

The Establishment Division has issued formal notifications covering all the appointments, transfer and cancellation orders.
