Why Imran Aslam Left Karachi for Lahore? Reason revealed
Talented actor and writer Imran Aslam has opened up about his decision to leave Karachi and raise his children in Lahore.
Imran disclose that his own traumatic experiences in the city played a major role in the decision.
Speaking during an interview with Ahmed Ali Butt, Imran Aslam said that raising children peacefully in Karachi had become difficult for him as he did not want his children to grow up surrounded by fear and violence.
The actor remembered his own experiences in Karachi, saying that he had witnessed people losing their lives and had even faced situations where bullets were fired at him.
According to Imran, he feared that a child growing up in such an environment could either become extremely fearful or turn rebellious, while the harsh circumstances could also put their lives at risk.
“I have seen people dying, bullets have been fired at me, I have experienced everything in Karachi,” he said while recalling the difficult experiences he had witnessed.
The actor said that protecting his children from such an environment was one of the major reasons he decided to move away from Karachi and settle in Lahore.
Imran Aslam further pointed out that Lahore also offers better opportunities from an educational perspective.
Imran Aslam began his acting journey in 2007 and gradually established himself in Pakistan’s television and film industry through a variety of roles.
Over the years, he appeared in several drama serials, including Sanjha, Benaam and Habs, while also making his mark on the big screen with Saawan.
His performance in Sanjha earned him a Lux Style Award nomination, while he has also won two Hum Awards for his acting.
