PTI cannot march on Islamabad, says minister 

Federal Minister for Climate Change Dr Musadik Malik has said the government cannot allow Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to march on Islamabad, arguing that previous protests had led to disorder and violence, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Speaking about the government’s policy on the PTI protest while talking to media men in Islamabad on Tuesday, Musadik Malik said protests had repeatedly descended into rioting and unrest, resulting in the deaths of police personnel and civilians. 

He added that buildings and vehicles were set on fire during past protests in Islamabad, while people were also seen carrying Kalashnikovs and opening fire. 

The minister commented that in the United States, any threat of an attack on law enforcement agencies with automatic rifles is met with a severe response.

He said inciting bloodshed and using provocative language in the country was unacceptable.
