In a latest development, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) has nominated Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarrar as the Leader of the House in Senate—Upper House of the Parliament, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Yousaf Raza Gillani has been nominated as Parliamentary leader of PPP in the Senate. The notification of the both nominations have been issued. 

Public Accounts Committee

PTI disgruntled lawmaker Noor Alam Khan has assumed the charge of Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Chairman. National Assembly Additional Secretary chaired the PAC meeting in which Noor Alam Khan was elected as new chairman of the PAC. 

Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif recommended the name of Noor Alam Khan to PAC committee as chairman.
