Pakistan secures top spot in International Tent Pegging World Cup qualifier

Pakistan secured first position in the International Tent Pegging Federation World Cup qualifier held in Oman, delivering a strong overall performance in the international equestrian competition, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.

The Pakistani contingent scored 455 points to finish at the top of the overall standings. The team demonstrated its horse-riding skills throughout the competition, winning six gold, five silver and two bronze medals.

The achievement reflects the hard work, commitment and dedication of riders, coaches and support staff associated with the Equestrian Federation of Pakistan.

Following their success in Oman, the Pakistani team will now represent the country at the fifth International Tent Pegging World Cup, which will be held in Jordan.

Pakistan’s success in the international tent pegging competition is expected to generate further interest in the traditional equestrian sport in the country.
