Newly-married woman attempts suicide 

A newly-married woman was hospitalised in critical condition after she attempted self-immolation in tehsil Sadiqabad of Rahimyar Khan on Sunday.

According to details, a woman was forced to tie a knot with a man against her desires some eight days earlier.

Disgruntled over decision of the family, the newlywed woman attempted to commit suicide through self-immolation.

She was rushed to Sheikh Zayed Hospital where her condition was stated to be critical.

The police after registering a case into the incident have started an investigation.
