CAA to take 'fake pilots' to task
The authority woke up to the findings of an interim report on the PIA plane crash in Karachi a few days ahead of Eid.
Sources said lists are being sought and the CAA will take stern action against the ‘pilots with bogus licences’.
They are all grounded after being declared ‘dangerous’ the sources said, adding that some people with fake licences are flying planes of other airlines too.
Air Marshal Arshad Malik summoned all legal and flight operations teams to decide future course of action as a total 262 licences are bogus, sources said, adding that allegedly, 150 captains of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has bogus licences.
