Cash van guards thwart robbery bid in Karachi

Two guards of a private security company sustained injuries in a firefight with robbers as the latter attacked a cash van in Karachi, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

The shootout occurred on Rashid Minhas Road when six gunmen attempted to loot the van.

One of the attackers too sustained gunshot wounds, However, his accomplices managed to take him away.

The injured guards are Kareem Din and Abdul Hameed who were rushed to hospital.
