Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi conducts detailed tour of Islamabad 

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Thursday conducted a detailed tour of various areas in Islamabad, reviewing the city's overall situation, civic amenities, and arrangements made for cleanliness and beautification, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Naqvi visited different schools, hotels, and other public places, issuing necessary directives to the concerned officials.

He ordered the immediate removal of all kinds of encroachments in the federal capital, saying they would not be tolerated.

The minister also directed the concerned officials to come up with a plan to beautify all roads in the city.

He further directed that special attention must be paid to the beautification of roads, green belts, medians, and other open spaces.

Naqvi also ordered large-scale tree plantation in open spaces. “The city's greenery should be further enhanced,” he ordered.

He said Islamabad must look like a capital city in every respect.

Islamabad is the capital of Pakistan; the city's cleanliness, beauty, and civic amenities should be befitting its status, Mohsin Naqvi said.

He directed that special focus should be placed on the city's beautification, and practical steps to further improve civic amenities must be accelerated.

The chief commissioner of Islamabad and relevant officials accompanied the minister on the occasion.
