PPP calls off Monday’s Karachi rally

Pakistan People’s Party has cancelled its Karachi rally slated to be held tomorrow (Monday), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
While announcing the party decision, PPP Karachi divisional president and Sindh minister Saeed Ghani said the decision was taken keeping in view the rising coronavirus cases across the country.
The PPP planned to hold a big rally in NA-249 constituency on Monday in which the central leaders of the party were supposed to address.
On Friday, PML-N also called off its 249 by-election campaign citing intensifying third wave of coronavirus gripping the country.
