Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmed Thursday took suo motu notice of viral a video of Maulana Iftikhar on social media against Justice Qazi Faez Isa.

The hearing will be heard by Bench No.1 of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Friday (tomorrow).

Agha Iftikhar-ud-Din Mirza in a video clip gave remarks about judiciary and judges.

The TV Channel reported that wife of Justice Qazi Faez Isa has also lodged a complaint against the video clip of Agha Iftikhar-ud-Din Mirza at Secretariat Police Station, Islamabad.

It has been decided that the Islamabad police would hand over the case to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

Wife of Justice Justice Qazi Faez Isa said her husband had received "death threats" in the video.
