Taekwondo Belt Promotion Test to be held on Sep 28
Young players to showcase skills and discipline at Lahore event
The Global Traditional Taekwondo Federation will organise a special Taekwondo Belt Promotion Test on September 28, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.
According to a press statement, Black Belt 4th Dan (WTF Korea), Poomsae coach and National Taekwondo Club President Khawar Mahmood will conduct the belt promotion test for children and young players, aiming at young players to demonstrate their skills, discipline and commitment to the sport.
The event will be held at the Alkhidmat Foundation Sports Complex and attended by Global Traditional Taekwondo Federation Pakistan President Rizwan Mustafa Zuberi, Secretary General Syed Ali Imran, Vice President Ayesha Muzammil, Centre for Special Needs Voice Society Managing Director Samina Mir and Voice Society CEO Humayun Zaheer.
Players, coaches, parents and other people associated with sports will also attend the ceremony.
Organising Secretary Ayesha Muzammil said Pakistan had immense talent among children and young people in Taekwondo.
She added that promoting martial arts among young people could also help build discipline, confidence and a healthy sporting culture.
