Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Special Assistant on Religious Affairs Maulana Tahir Ashrafi Monday demanded the murderer of Noor Muqaddam should be executed by stoning.

According to 24News HD TV channel, the PM aide held a press conference in Islamabad and said there was a ‘need to change the justice system'.

He said Noor was the daughter of nation and the state was standing by the oppressed. He appealed to the Prime Minister and the Chief Justice of Pakistan to conduct a speedy trial of the Noor murder case. 

Ashrafi welcomed the announcement of the Saudi authorities to resume Umrah pilgrimage for international pilgrims. He said the problem of those working in Saudi Arabia would also be solved soon.
