160,000 teachers will get AI training in Punjab

Advisor to the Punjab Chief Minister on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Initiative Ali Dar has said that, as per the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, 1,60,000 teachers will get artificial intelligence training under the AI Curriculum and Training Initiative, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

He expressed these views while addressing the participants of the AI Curriculum and Training Initiative as chief guest.

Ali Dar said that thousands of students will be able to get artificial intelligence training. He said that training 1,60,000 teachers will play a vital role in the promotion of artificial intelligence in the province.

He said that the basic aim of including artificial intelligence in the curriculum is to train the teachers as per the latest state-of-the-art standards.

Ali Dar expressed the hope that the educational syllabus of Punjab, which will be created through artificial intelligence, will provide the best opportunities to the students in the future.

The launch of AI Curriculum and Training Initiative brought together the School Education Department, PECTAA, PMIU-PESRP, UNICEF, and the Office of AI to explore the changing landscape of teaching, learning, and education in the age of Artificial Intelligence.
