Sharjeel Memon inaugurates BRT’s mausamiyat flyover

Sindh Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Memon inaugurated the Mausamiyat Flyover, a key component of the Red Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project in Karachi, on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV.

Speaking at the inauguration, Memon said work on University Road is nearly complete, with construction remaining on only two to four sections.

He said work on the remaining 2.5-kilometre stretch of University Road would be completed within one and a half months.

Memon urged those criticising the project to visit University Road and see the progress themselves.

He said there was no bad faith behind the delays in the Red Line BRT project, adding that government departments do not have proper master plans.

The minister said the completion of the remaining works would further improve the progress of the Red Line BRT project.
