After receiving a scattered drizzle on Sunday, Lahore air quality has shown some signs of improvement as its AQI level has plummeted to 181 making it the fifth most polluted city in the world.
Lahore for the last two months has been on the top or second top in the worst air quality ranking with its AQI levels vacillating between 370 and 480. But a little drizzle in some areas of the metropolitan city cleared the atmosphere a bit.
Other cities including Mirpur Khas, Bahawalpur and Faisalabad are still engulfed in smog which is multiplying throat, skin and eyes ailments among citizens.
