NCOC opens walk-in vaccination for teachers

The National Command Operation Center (NCOC) Friday said that it had opened walk-in vaccination for teachers above 18 years of age in order to ensure a safe environment for education and exams in view of the coronavirus pandemic, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a tweet, the NCOC said that teachers could visit any vaccination centre along with their computerized national identity cards (CNICs) and stamped letters from the heads of their institutions for the purpose.

Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Asad Umar and NCOC Head, while informing people that so far over 50 million in Pakistan have been vaccinated against the pandemic, has appealed to them to get themselves registered for the purpose as early as possible so that vaccine could be administered to them and lockdowns and other restrictions imposed could be eased.
“We want people to lead their lives free from fears of coronavirus,” the minister said in a tweet.
He informed that walk-in vaccination of people over 30 years of age would kick off tomorrow (Saturday).
