Unidentified assailants shot dead a Rescue 1122 officer in Peshawar’s suburban area of Chamkani on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, the Rescue official died on the spot while the unknown attackers escaped from the scene.

Police after registration of first information report started further investigation and shifted the dead body to nearby hospital.
