You must accept you don't have political wisdom, Fazl tells rulers

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) President Maulana Fazlur Rehman said on Sunday those running the country don’t have the political wisdom therefore their flawed decisions will have consequences.

Addressing a political rally in Battagram, Fazl said he does not recognize anyone’s government other than the one of the people of Pakistan. He said he did not let the past governments stay and he won’t let the incumbent government stay. He said that JUI workers will be in the field and his party will emerge victorious. He said that people should not complain about corruption after vote rigging in elections. He said the government’s decision to merge the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was flawed and unilateral. He said that tribal people are angry at the government’s decisions.

Fazl said that Pakistani rulers should not talk about Islam and the people of Pakistan if they rely on the United States of America. He said the rulers have not honoured any of the promises they made. He said the Pakistani parliament declared the Nikah of a boy and girl below 18 illegal; it was tantamount to banning a legal Nikah. He said that Pakistan is fast losing the track of constitution. He said that his party did not accept results of either the 2018 general election or the 2024 general elections because both were rigged.
