Ayaz Sadiq replaces Ishaq Dar for Bangladesh visit to attend Khalida Zia's funeral

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar will no longer visit Bangladesh tomorrow due to a busy schedule, 24NewsHD TV reported. 

Instead, National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq will represent Pakistan and attend the funeral of former Bangladeshi Prime Minister Khaleda Zia tomorrow, who had been seriously ill for an extended period.

Sources said that during a previous visit to Bangladesh, Dar had personally visited Khaleda Zia’s residence to meet her amid her serious health condition.

Sardar Ayaz Sadiq is now scheduled to participate in both the state and family funeral proceedings on behalf of Pakistan.
