Hamza Khan, the winner of British Open Junior Squash Championship 2020 held in Birmingham England, has been honoured in a ceremony at Bacha Khan International Airport, Peshawar.

Obaidur Rehman Abbassi, Chief Operating Officer of Bacha Khan International Airport, Peshawar, handed over a cash prize of Rs50000 and a complete kit bag to the Junior British Open champion on behalf of Director General Civil Aviation Authority Hasan Nasir Jami.

The CAA also announced a RS10000 monthly honorarium for Hamza as well. The monthly honorarium was also announced for other squash players including Abdul Rehman , Moeed ur Rehman and coaches Noor Zaman and Riaz Khan along with squash kit bags.

Obaidur Rehman Abbassi said the CAA was playing key role in promotion of sports and for the welfare of the sportsmen.

He said the CAA was also giving monthly stipends to skiing, cricket, football and squash players and would continue to work for the welfare of sportsmen and the sports in future as well.
