Mehar SHO booked for issuing fake cheques

The local court of Mehar ordered to register a case against SHO Police Station Khaipur Nathan Shah for issuing fake cheques, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Additional Sessions Judge Mehar ordered to register a case against SHO Qamaruddin Tanio. 

The SHO had given two cheques of Rs500,000 as guarantee to businessman Muhammad Khan Ghanghru in connection with a robbery. 

A few days ago, a robbery took place in Mehar, after which the business community staged a sit-in. 

In order to end the sit-in, the SHO had given a cheque as guarantee and assured the arrest of the accused involved. 

The court ordered to register a case against SHO Qamaruddin Tanio on the request of the affected businessman after the cheque did not pass.
