Rilee Rossouw becomes first overseas player to reach 100 PSL matches

Rilee Rossouw has become the first foreign player to complete 100 matches in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), achieving the milestone during Quetta Gladiators’ latest fixture against Peshawar Zalmi in the ongoing tournament.

With this landmark appearance, Rossouw also became only the fourth player overall in PSL history to reach the 100-match mark, joining Imad Wasim, Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman.

Ahead of the match, PSL Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer and Quetta Gladiators owner Nadeem Omar felicitated Rossouw on the achievement and presented him with a commemorative Gladiators helmet.

The South African batter has been a consistent presence in the PSL since 2017, representing Quetta Gladiators for six seasons and Multan Sultans for four seasons.

Rossouw is currently the fourth-highest run-scorer in PSL history, amassing 2,366 runs, including 11 half-centuries and three centuries. He also holds the distinction of being the highest run-scorer among overseas players in the tournament.
