Punjab boards name Intermediate 2026 top position holders

Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education across Punjab have announced the top position holders in the 2026 Intermediate examinations, with students from Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Multan, and DG Khan securing leading positions across pre-medical, pre-engineering, general science, commerce, and humanities groups.

BISE LAHORE

In Lahore, BISE Chairman Professor Badr-ul-Salam and Controller of Examinations Tauseef-ur-Rehman announced the Intermediate Part-II position holders.

Mubashra Waseem of Government Degree College, Islampura, and Syed Muhammad Mohi-ud-Din of Government College University, Lahore, shared the overall first position after securing 1,158 marks each.

Muhammad Ahmed Shaukat of Government College University and Muhammad Zunair Amjad of Punjab College of Science shared the second position with 1,157 marks each, while Ayesha Bakhsh of KIPS College, Johar Town, secured the third position with 1,156 marks.

In the Lahore board's pre-medical boys group, Syed Muhammad Mohi-ud-Din stood first with 1,158 marks. Muhammad Zunair Amjad and Muhammad Ahmed Shaukat shared the second position with 1,157 marks, while Hafiz Muhammad Isa Gul secured third place with 1,155 marks.

Among pre-medical girls, Mubashra Waseem secured first position with 1,158 marks, followed by Kainat Shahzadi with 1,153 marks and Aiza Imran with 1,152 marks.

Hassan Ali Khan topped the pre-engineering boys group with 1,154 marks. Muhammad Ahmed secured second position with 1,152 marks, while Faizan Izad stood third with 1,150 marks.

Ayesha Bakhsh topped the pre-engineering girls group with 1,156 marks, followed by Arfa Fatima with 1,153 marks and Aleema Abbas with 1,151 marks.

In the Lahore board's general science girls group, Samia Rizvi secured first position with 1,143 marks. Mumtahina Rafiq and Nimra Deen Muhammad shared second position with 1,138 marks, while Abrisham Kashif secured third place with 1,136 marks.

In the general science boys group, Faryam Akmal and Muhammad Ayan jointly secured first position with 1,141 marks. Syed Murtaza Mehdi stood second with 1,133 marks, while Hafiz Adeel and Abdul Rehman shared third position with 1,131 marks.

Muhammad Taha bin Atif topped the commerce boys group with 1,094 marks, followed by Ali Akbar with 1,076 marks and Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din with 1,070 marks.

BISE RAWALPINDI

The Rawalpindi Board also announced its top position holders, with Chairman Professor Dr Iqbal Mahmood, the controller of examinations and the board secretary making the announcement.

Wazifa Javed of Punjab College for Women, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi, secured the overall first position with 1,156 marks.

The information released by the board states that Noor Fatima Sajid of Punjab College for Women, Satellite Town, secured second position with 1,151 marks while Nabeeha Iman of Punjab College for Women, Talagang, and Muneeb Shah of Punjab College, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi, secured third position with 1,142 marks each. 

The Rawalpindi board chairman congratulated the successful students, their parents and teachers. A ceremony to honour position holders will be held at the board premises on Wednesday, Sept. 23, where prizes will be distributed among the students.

BISE GUJRANWALA

Female students swept the top overall positions in the Gujranwala Board examinations.

Hareem Abbas secured the overall first position after scoring 1,160 marks out of 1,200. Aishal Tariq stood second with 1,158 marks, while Iman Shahid and Nabia Imran jointly secured third position with 1,156 marks each.

BISE BAHAWALPUR

The Bahawalpur Board also announced position holders for the Intermediate First Annual Examination 2026 across different groups.

Mishal Fatima of Punjab College for Women, Bahawalpur, topped the pre-medical girls group with 1,157 marks. Arafa Shahzad stood second with 1,151 marks, while Maryam Zahra secured third position with 1,150 marks.

Muhammad Saad of Government Shuhada-e-APS Memorial Higher Secondary School, Bahawalpur, secured first position in the pre-medical boys group with 1,157 marks. Mounis Tariq stood second with 1,155 marks and Zain-ur-Rehman third with 1,148 marks.

Namira Iman of Roots Ivy International School for Girls, Bahawalpur, led the pre-engineering girls group with 1,144 marks. Sidra Asghar secured second position with 1,140 marks, and Haram Nadeem stood third with 1,139 marks.

Mughees-ur-Rehman of Concordia College for Boys, Bahawalpur, topped the pre-engineering boys group with 1,153 marks. Muhammad Ali Hasnain secured second position with 1,130 marks, while Muhammad Hamza Nasir stood third with 1,129 marks.

Iman Fatima topped the Bahawalpur board's general science girls group with 1,149 marks, followed by Khadija Nasir with 1,144 marks and Esha Shafiq with 1,140 marks.

Akashah Tariq secured first position in the general science boys group with 1,158 marks. Moiz Nawaz stood second with 1,148 marks and Hafiz Hamza Faheem third with 1,143 marks.

In the humanities girls group, Afshan Noor topped with 1,117 marks, followed by Samaira with 1,116 marks and Aiman Faiz with 1,112 marks.

Muhammad Anas topped the humanities boys group with 1,074 marks. Zaheer Ali secured second position with 1,070 marks, and Rana Muhammad Sami took third position with 1,046 marks.

BISE MULTAN

The Multan Board announced its position holders for the Intermediate First Annual Examination, with Chairman Dr. Ijaz Ahmed Tatla presenting details of the successful candidates. Board Secretary Khurram Shahzad and Controller of Examinations Dr. Imran Ahmed were also present.

Ali bin Abdullah of Punjab College Boys, Lahore Mor, Khanewal, secured the overall first position with 1,163 marks.

Fakhra Zafar of Khanewal secured the overall second position with 1,162 marks, while Dania Sabir and Dua Fatima Batool of Khanewal and Faizan Shaukat of Multan shared the overall third position with 1,161 marks, according to the information provided by the board.

Ali bin Abdullah also topped the Multan board's pre-medical boys category with 1,163 marks. The group-wise information lists Faizan Shaukat of Multan and Daniyal Sabir of Khanewal with 1,161 marks.

In the female pre-medical category, the board information lists Fakhra Muzaffar of Khanewal in first position with 1,162 marks, Dua Fatima of Khanewal second with 1,161 marks and Fatima Moeen of Vehari third with 1,159 marks.

Among pre-engineering boys, Saad Ahmed of Khanewal stood first with 1,158 marks, Muhammad Ahmed of Multan second with 1,156 marks and Zimad Bashir of Khanewal third with 1,150 marks.

Akashah Khan of Abdul Hakim topped the pre-engineering girls category with 1,157 marks. The supplied group-wise figures also list Noor-ul-Ain of Multan with 1,146 marks and Meerab Aamir of Multan with 1,150 marks.

Maimoona Batool of Khanewal topped the Multan board's humanities girls category with 1,110 marks, followed by Sadia Noreen of Burewala with 1,107 marks and Alisha Ahmed of Multan with 1,106 marks.

Muhammad Yousuf of Multan secured first position among humanities boys with 1,056 marks. Mahmood Ahmed of Vehari stood second with 1,044 marks, while Sajawal Naeem of Multan secured third position with 1,040 marks.

In commerce, Nisa Ahmed of Multan secured 1,139 marks to top the girls category. Sawera Bibi of Mian Channu stood second with 1,106 marks and Mahak Zahra of Multan third with 1,101 marks.

Muhammad Samama of Multan led the commerce boys category with 1,131 marks, followed by Muhammad Abdullah of Khanewal with 1,123 marks and Muhammad Anas of Multan with 1,119 marks.

Faiza Tauqeer of Multan topped the general science girls category with 1,152 marks. Sumbal Zahra stood second with 1,150 marks and Iman Sohail third with 1,148 marks.

Muhammad Bin Yasir of Multan secured first position in the general science boys group with 1,157 marks. Muhammad Mubashir secured second position with 1,150 marks and Shahryar stood third with 1,142 marks.

The Multan board chairman said his team had compiled the results with diligence and integrity. Detailed results of the Intermediate First Annual Examination are scheduled to be announced on Wednesday morning.

BISE DG KHAN

The DG Khan Board announced Arifa Maryam as the overall topper of the Intermediate Annual Examination 2026 after she secured 1,164 marks out of 1,200.

Usman Ahmed secured the overall second position with 1,161 marks, while Muhammad Hanzala Munir stood third with 1,158 marks.

Muhammad Hanzala Munir also topped the pre-medical boys category, while Arifa Maryam stood first among pre-medical girls.

Muhammad Faizan secured first position among pre-engineering boys, while Taqdees Fatima topped the pre-engineering girls category.

Usman Ahmed secured first position among boys in the general science and commerce category, while Sundas Khan topped the corresponding girls category.

Muhammad Ashfaq secured first position among humanities boys and Sania Azhar topped the humanities girls category.

The DG Khan board chairman congratulated the position holders, their parents and teachers, saying the students had achieved their success through hard work and dedication.
