Six militants killed, nine suspects held in Balochistan operation

Security forces killed six militants and arrested nine suspects during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan's Saran Tangi area under Operation Shaban-2, security sources said.

The sources said the operation targeted militants they described as belonging to "Fitna-al-Hind."

They said security forces carried out the operation on the basis of intelligence reports and successfully engaged the militants in the area.

According to the sources, a large quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the possession of the militants killed during the operation.

Nine suspects were also taken into custody during the security operation, the sources said.

Security forces are continuing operations against militant elements in Balochistan and will maintain the campaign until their elimination, according to the sources.
