Cross-examination of all witnesses completed in PTI Nov 26 protest case

Cross-examination of all prosecution witnesses has been completed on Wednesday, in the November 26 protest case registered at Secretariat Police Station Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV.

The Judge Tahir Abbas Supra from Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad heard the case, presiding over the proceedings.

According to the court proceedings, the prosecution presented a total of 52 witnesses in case number 544 registered at Secretariat Police Station.

During today’s hearing, defence lawyers completed cross-examination of the doctor who prepared the medical report and complainant police officer Ashfaq Warraich.

The court will record statements of the accused under Section 342 of the Code of Criminal Procedure at the next hearing.

The trial is currently proceeding against nine accused persons in the case.

Meanwhile, charge sheets against Bushra Bibi, Ali Amin Gandapur and other individuals have not been presented in the case.
