Federal bureaucracy sees fresh transfers, appointments

The federal government has made a series of transfers and other administrative changes in the bureaucracy, with the Establishment Division issuing formal notifications.

Saad Fazil Abbasi, a Grade-21 officer serving as senior joint secretary in the Finance Division, has been transferred and directed to report to the Establishment Division.

Deputy Secretary Adnan Rashid has been transferred from the Ministry of Housing to the Ministry of Kashmir Affairs.

In another move, Muhammad Amin Qureshi, serving as secretary of Income Tax Policy at the Federal Board of Revenue, has been transferred, with his services placed at the disposal of the Sindh government.

Separately, Javed Ahmed Qambar, a Grade-19 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service currently posted in Sindh, has been granted study leave until Sept. 5, 2027.

The Establishment Division has issued separate notifications regarding the transfers and leave arrangements.
