Anser Iqbal qualifies for Asian Games long jump final

Pakistan’s Anser Iqbal has qualified for the final of the long jump event at the Asian Games with an impressive personal-best performance, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.

Anser produced a jump of 7.28 metres in the qualifying round to secure his place in the final.

The effort also marked a new personal best for the Pakistani athlete.

The long jump final will be held on Monday, when Anser will compete for a medal against the other qualified athletes.
