Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has sought a comprehensive plan for Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) scholarship and iPad scheme, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif chaired a high-level meeting on Thursday and reviewed the higher education scholarship and iPad scheme.

During meeting, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed displeasure at the incomplete briefing.

The CM instructed to review and formulate the scholarship scheme.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif ordered to conduct student survey for iPad and laptop scheme.

The Chief Minister instructed that after determining the need of the students, they will decide to give iPads and laptops.

Student field back is very important in laptop and ipad scheme, Maryam Nawaz said.

She said the education sector should not be aimless and directionless.

Higher education and other institutions will be developed on modern lines, the CM instructed.

Former Senator Pervez Rasheed, Member Provincial Assembly Maryam Aurangzeb, Nosheen Adnan, Rana Sikandar Hayat also participated.

Chief Secretary, Chairman P&D, Secretary Finance, Secretary Higher Education, Chairman PITB and other officials were also present in the meeting.
