Five killed, over 15 critically injured in Tharparkar road crash

At least five people were killed and more than 15 others were critically injured when an oil tanker collided with a passenger coaster on Mithi-Badin Road, rescue officials said.

The bodies of the deceased and the injured were being shifted to Civil Hospital Mithi, according to rescue sources.

Officials said all passengers travelling in the coaster belonged to Bheel Colony in Naukot.

The passengers had travelled to Diplo and were returning when the accident occurred.

Rescue officials said women and children were also among those travelling in the coaster.
