Govt expects PTI long march to be called off completely

Federal Minister, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, has said the PTI’s planned long march is expected to be called off completely rather than merely postponed until October, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.  
Speaking to 24 News in Islamabad, Fazal Chaudhry said the government was fully prepared to deal with the situation and expressed confidence that the long march would not simply be deferred. 
He said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had offered to hold talks with the opposition on multiple occasions, but alleged that PTI was preventing Mahmood Khan Achakzai from meeting the PM. 
The federal minister said it was the government’s responsibility to ensure security in Islamabad and provide necessary facilities to the public. 
He urged PTI to demonstrate political wisdom and prudence, claiming that such qualities were currently lacking within the party.
