FPSC shortlists 12 candidates for PIMS senior registrar posts

The Federal Public Service Commission has provisionally shortlisted 12 candidates for three Grade-18 Senior Registrar posts at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, according to an FPSC notification.

The vacancies include one seat each under the merit, Punjab open merit and Sindh open merit categories.

For anesthesia, four candidates were provisionally shortlisted, while no candidate was shortlisted against the Sindh open merit quota.

Three candidates were shortlisted for neonatology, with no candidates selected under the Punjab and Sindh open merit categories.

For neurology, five candidates were provisionally shortlisted, while no additional candidate was selected under the Sindh open merit quota.

The FPSC also provisionally rejected one candidate for failing to meet the required educational qualifications by the prescribed deadline.

Candidates who have been provisionally shortlisted or rejected will be called for physical verification of their documents.

Their final status will be subject to document verification and approval by the FPSC.

Islamabad has been designated as the interview centre for the Senior Registrar posts. However, the interview of a neurology candidate shortlisted from Sindh will be held in Karachi.
