SBP foreign exchange reserves increase by $11.3m
The State Bank of Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves increased by $11.3 million, reaching a record $21.40 billion, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
The country’s total foreign exchange reserves also rose by $19.4 million to $26.80 billion. While reserves held by commercial banks increased by $8.1 million to $5.41 billion.
On a weekly basis, total foreign exchange reserves registered a significant increase of $3.061 billion.
