Bahawalnagar hospital gets state-of-the-art Ceth Lab

The newly-established state-of-the-art Ceth Laboratory started treating cardiac diseases at District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Bahawalnagar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Talking to the media, Dr Kashif said that alongside angiography, stents are also being implanted in heart patients.

The procedure for a successful angiography and the insertion of an assist device has commenced in the Cath lab. Dr. Kashif said that patients are receiving free-of-cost treatment for heart diseases.

He said that patients will get free-of-cost treatment for heart diseases at District Headquarters Hospital in Bahwalnagar.

Medical Superintendent DHQ Dr. Amir Raza said that this is a gift from Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for the people of Bahawalnagar.

Dr. Amir Raza said that patients have to travel to Lahore, Bahawalpur, and Multan for treatment of cardiac diseases, but now they are getting this treatment without paying any charges in Bahawalnagar.
